Info for swaps and penpals

So during July 2026 it came to my attention that I can make posts on Reddit, sort of like a blog/journal, and I'm shooketh. I think somewhere in my mind that information was there, but it just took a few years to really sink in.

Not new to Reddit, as I joined under a different name in the way back times for a random Christmas gift swap. Then there was a break because life, but I returned because of things I enjoy. Also, it's a great alternative to scrolling social media, which is no longer part of my daily life. It serves a purpose, which I understand, but it's not for me. Also, I'm not new to Blogger/Blogspot, as it hosted a lot of my work in previous years. It seems like a great place to store all my penpal/swap/mail art/ATCs for now...until I figure out how to put this on my main site.

A two-fold important thing for you to know about me...I am not looking for a date, and I don't want whatever it is you are trying to sell me. I was there when the internet went from a green screen to WYSIWYG, and there's not a scam out there that I've not seen. Also, trust me, you cannot sway me with any charms. Totally immune to that b.s.

For work I'm a maker of things and helper of people. Got a long list of certifications to back me up on that. I guess the best way to describe my work is that of a spiritual worker. What's that you might ask, well here's a little explanation - it's a person who dedicates their time and energy to helping others heal, grow, and connect with a deeper sense of meaning. I'm like a therapist that knows more than Jung's thoughts on the mystical parts of life. And all that fancy learnin' is combined with the stories of my kin who were the healers, granny women, and seers of their day in the hills and hollers of Kentucky, Virginia, and New Jersey. They were Separate Baptists, and churches filled with that amount of Spirit are still going today. Granny women weren't witches, they were firm believers in the Holy Spirit. As for me, well I'm just a human that sees great value in faith systems, as was as great value in no faith systems. What I do know is that we are all connected, and that is something where science and spirituality find common ground.

Got a few awards for photography and poetry, and so do a lot of other people. Put a poetry book together and placed it on Amazon. You can do the same thing, and I highly suggest you try. Over the years I've taught classes on: crochet, storytelling, journal writing, watercolor, weaving, and a few more I can't think of while writing this at 6 in the morning. Also taught yoga, meditation, and more spiritual classes - just forgot to mention that in the previous paragraph.

So now that you know the important part - don't be a douche canoe and try to hit me up for something.

Now, let me get to the fun part...especially if you found me for a swap, a letter, or because you were just rolling through Reddit and I seemed cool.

- for the love of all things no erotica - cool for you that you love it, but it's not for me
- for letters and post cards anything with cats, gardening, books, old paper, and anything that has to do with being the weird lady on the street (which I am, porch goose and all)
- for larger swaps I'm working on an Amazon wishlist. Yes, we all know that that guy with the phallic rocket is bad - very bad - but it’s sometimes all folks have
- no religious or political propaganda - my belief is that none of us are free if any are oppressed, and to love one another
- would prefer not receiving food or tea
